It is Steel products He bought a a ranch supply... likely the engine speed governor has come to be set incorrectly. does the diesel engine have an RPM meter? lacking a gearbox, it has to be 1800rpm (4 pole generator head) or 3600rpm (2 pole generator head). ar-jedi |

Check engine speed. Low engine speed will also effect frequency along with voltage. If you have a multi-meter that can measure frequency, you can judge engine speed by reading freq. at the plug. If engine speed is correct, but voltage is still low, it would be a regulator issue. |
