Was it a calf or a full grown cow?

What type of door do you have on your trap, how big is the trap and what do you bait it with?

it was a calf and a donkey, the trap is about 10'x5' about 4 feet tall, i use soured corn with beer and acorns and hog wild. have a game camera set up watching the trap and the pigs are going everywhere but in the trap. o yea the door is a root in type door to let more in when it is set off an closed.

try to rig it up so that the door is only open half way, thats what we had to do to keep the deer out. Also you may want to make sure youve got the trap staked down. Once the pigs get suspicious they will just push the trap aside to get to the bait.

My good friend has a ranch up the road from me and he had to take one of his elk out of a trap a couple of weeks ago. That trap will never be the same.
