for the refill instructions on propane 1lb. bottle refills; I just got the adapter today,
and have some needing filling. When I screwed the adapter to the one lb. empty (without being attatched to the big bottle) the internal seating stem/valve kept leaking; I poked at it to reset several times, but it still slowly leaked. is this cause there isn't enough pressure to seat it? yes, the bottle was almost empty. I put it outside till I can fill it later. Has anyone gotten screw on caps to prevent these from leaking? thanks |
