| I have a new to me Steyr scout without optics. How would you experts recomend I scope it for medium to large game. The scope scout style low magnification up front or traditionally higher magnification over the action? TIA |

The best one to choose it the one that works best for YOU. I'll assume you have read Col Coopers thoughts IRT his Scout Rifle concept. If not, then you probably should. Then you need to see if those thoughts match yours and act accordingly. I have a Steyr SBS Pro Hunter and it works great with the scope mounted on top of the receiver. I'm sorry, but I can't help anymore then that. Let us know what you decide. |
