Hey everyone, I need a good pair of boots for the next few months.  Something that will be good for super cold, (my feet are always the one thing i cant keep warm)
I'll be using them for a lot of ice fishing (walking great distances on the ice, then sitting for hours), some hunting, and other things like that.

Anybody got any suggestions or advice on what to look for?
I visit Cabelas pretty frequently, I'd like to try them on before I buy them.

I have a set of Browning Steeltoe Workboots that are amazing. They are leather and Goretex and Thinsulate lined, I've been using them for my winter boots for 3 years now, and I have poor circulation to my extremities. They're more comfortable than my tennis shoes.

I always used the surplus Mickey Mouse boots.  There's nothing better for sitting on the ice or in a tree stand.  Walking in them isn't too bad.

Thanks guys.
I've been considering the "mickey mouse" boots. I'm going up north this weekend and theres a surplus store on the way that sells them. Might pick some up.

Get some gaiters, they make a huge difference. They don't have to be GoreTex or insulated.

Muck Boots Arctic.  They work great for ice fishing.  They're light weight and waterproof.  I'd personally stay away from anything steel toed or steel shanked because they will just conduct the cold.
