Well... pretty amazing. .33moa 5 shot groups with factory ammo. Holds that on 300 yards yards as well, shot a just under 1 inch group with 5 shots..
I made some handloads once and got .2 moa, 5 shot group at 100 yards. This shilen barrel is 6.5CM.
Now I know that inside of barrel isnt the most friendly environment, but just wanna make sure that it looks pretty normal and that I won't thrash the barrel anytime soon. I never did any break-in, shot 100-150 shots through it. Those pics were taken after I gave a decent clean. Cleaned out the carbon, then ran some hoppes black label to see if any copper comes out but nothing did, so recleaned it with regular hoppes and got some more carbon out and thats how it looks.
My ruger rpr in .308 on the other hand, looks clean af. Never did a break in procedure either, gun had close to 100 shots before i cleaned it for the first time. Soaked it in regular hoppes, brushed it, pushed some more wet/dry patches and the barrel has some trace amounts of copper somewhere in the middle of the barrel. Right if front of the throat, its so clean you could eat off of it. No carbon, no copper, nothing. So yeah... just curious how factory barrel looks so much cleaner vs aftermarket ss barrel.
