What is everyone’s opinion of the below scope?

bushnell link

I was looking at the ET6245F

I want a first focal plane and a mil-dot reticle.

I would get this model:

Here is an excellent read if you are looking for a good scope:

I'd take one over a Vortex PST any day

I have it with the G2 reticle. It is a nice scope. It is on an AR now but I used it for a 1000 rds +/- on a .308.
If you can live without illumination I would recommend getting the G2 reticle version. It is more usable in every way.

I wish they'd introduce one with an moa reticle.

I'm waiting on my 3-12x44 variant with the G2 for my SPR.  I've had aother one and it was great quality.

I'd certainly prefer the HDMR version, but it's way more expensive that I can afford right now.

I have three B&L/Bushnell Elite 4xxx scopes including their original SFP 30mm SF Mildot 6-24x50 'Tactical' scope and apart from the lack of elevation travel on mine (45 MOA) it's been a very good scope mounted on a Savage 10FP .308.

The scope in your link is FFP and the one you want is illuminated, so besides those points, it's similar to mine, but you have 70 MOA of total travel, so while not a lot, it's better than mine.

I will point out that the ET6245F still comes with MOA knobs, but that's never been a problem for a causal shooter like me, however, mil/mil is probably a better route for many of us.

I have owned a bunch of the Bushnell FFP mil/mil scopes (3-12x, two 6-24x and a 3.5-21x HDMR) with both the mildot reticle and G2 reticle... They are probably the best bang for the buck in the "tactical" scope market.

The ET6245F illuminated mildot first focal optic is actually 1/10 MRAD...though the scope pictured in the link is the second focal, 1/4 MOA ET6245.

I just snagged a LRHS for $1050 that was delivered Saturday and it seems to be awesome so far but I am waiting on rings and a base as I wasn't planning on buying a scope yet

This one...

ETA:  The glass seems to be every bit as good or a little better than the 3-18 SH IOR that I owned and it has a zero stop.  The clicks are crisp and audible and you can't beat the warranty.

For real? I'm thinking about upgrading from my Vortex 2.5-10x32 PST FFP to something like an NXS or HDMR on my REPR.

Both are for sale in the EE right now, but there's also a 4-16x50 PST FFP too...

I got to use my new LRHS yesterday and though I was only shooting to 200yds I was very impressed with it.  It has great glass, pretty good eye relief, and a pretty generous eye box.  The capped windage is a little odd but it does work just fine.  I didn't set the zero stop yet but it looks easy enough to do.  The only thing I don't like is the fast focus eyepiece as putting a BC cap on it is a PITA.

I am VERY happy with my purchase for the price paid.
