| I am going to be getting CDI Precision bottom metal for my savage 10/11. CDI will be doing the work to inlet my stock. I have never shipped a gun and I must admit I am a bit nervous. Anyone ever sent one to CDI. Anything good Bad or Indifferent to report ? |

I felt the same about shipping. I called them (CDI) and spoke to a nice lady who had a list of recommended gunsmiths in my are... If you consider 75 miles your area... I drove mine to Gruning Precission and they did a great job. I called CDI back thanked them for their quality product and excellent recommendation. That's a class act company. |

Ship only the stock, don't worry about it. CDI does a very clean and professional job. I emailed and asked them if I could just send the stock, they said you might have to cut down action screws so everything goes back together afterwards but nothing a Drexel can't fix.

If you send your parts to CDI, You will NOT be disappointed. Jeff and Pam are great people to deal with and Jeff's work is first rate. He has been involved in my last 4 or 5 builds. His bottom metal works really well and the quality is second to none.
Give them an opportunity to impress you. Good luck with your project. |
