I've heard good things but it's all third party information. They seem hard to find, so let us know if you snag one.

Care to share what you put into it?  Im trying to keep total budget to start below 1100 or so if possible.  I see it as about 500 on the rifle from the looks of things on gun broker.  Gotta get rings which you can go cheap on and the mount which will probably be a DIP.  put a harris bipod and a vortex viper mil mil with FFP.  I could go cheap on the scope but I have a vortex on my 308 gas gun and figure it would up the training value.  Probably add a yodave trigger kit down the road.

Im not sure on the quality of the boyds tactical stocks that come on them.  I have an MCM 5a on my bolt gun now but have preferred the manners in the past I figured I could just get a adjustable height cheek rest.

I think this is gonna be my winter project done some searching and haven't seen much lots of the rim fire forums out and about seem to have lots of exaggeration so it can be hard to wade through it.

I've been looking at these also.  How well are the boyds mounted up to these?  Would it benefit to having a gun smith bed it or do they already have some sort of (pillar?) bed?

For that kind of money I would prefer to get CZ's factory tactical trainer.  It comes with a Manners stock.

what do you get more?  The tac trainer starts off almost 400 more and would still need all the extras.  It wouldn't be for that money it would automatically start off 4-500 more.  I have looked at that as well of course the manners would be nice but it isn't a manners I would generally choose as it doesn't have adjustable height.

I also touched a new manners folding adjustable stock yesterday and I fell in love almost instantly.  I would hate to spend that much more on a fixed everything stock that needs all kinds of risers and what not anyway.
