I've got an older target rifle with a really nice walnut stock that I need to raise the comb on. Don't want to have it cut for an adjustable cheek piece.
So far this is looking like the best option. It seems to offer greater height than most of the others and it's adjustable. Any other choices worth considering? The rifle is an SSG-69 Match with a Nightforce rail. Mine was intended for use with target sights and consequently the receiver wasn't cut for mounts, hence the NF rail being fitted. The cheek weld is just about acceptable if you have an optic mounted in low two-piece rings, but I want to use a Spuhr ISMS mount. Thanks! |

They add a good deal of width to the stock and some people find it hard to get behind the scope properly as they are pushed to the side. Had that happen to a student in a class. He ditched it.
A Triad stock pack comes with some velcro risers that go under the stock pack and adjust the height when they are attached to the stock pack. They are a good option. |

Thanks.
It's on order and the sight and mount have arrived. Hoping to have it together and on the range in about two weeks. I'll try and write something about how it works out. From the perspective of an international customer, it's been a good purchasing experience. |
