| Is .22lr the new gold? Some of the prices people are asking is funny. |

I don't know but under 5 cents a round seem reasonable to me. Available at my Walmart . .22 LR Remington .22 Long Rifle 36Gr. Brass-plated Hollow Point Rimfire Golden Bullet, 525 Pack $21.97 In stock for the past 8 hrs (was Undisclosed) Shitfuckpissdamn. I just got that at Cabelas for considerably more...
Is the Remington golden bullet stuff worth buying or is it as bad as the thunderbolt crap? |

I'll pay 5 cents a round any day.
I'm not talking about Walmart. I'm talking about the folks that loaded up of this stuff for 5 cents and under a round and are selling it for 10 cents and higher. Hell I've seen mini mags go for 19 cents a shot. Seems like some bought or buy it just to turn a profit. |

Picked up 3 packs. 1575 of .22lr goodness. It only took a year of looking to find some. |

Is the Remington golden bullet stuff worth buying or is it as bad as the thunderbolt crap? That all depends on your gun and the discipline you shoot. Some guns will shoot OK but for competition out of a quality rifle I'd look elsewhere. In my circle of friends and competitors it is not viewed as fit for precision work. Only way you can tell is if you try some, then decide. Back in 1962 I was shooting NRA Smallbore Rifle @ 50 yards using Remington Standard Velocity out of a $21.00 Mossberg. It was great ammo then with only about 5 duds per box. Today my best .22 rifle cost quite a bit more and I won't even consider "Golden Bullets" for sighting in, let alone competition.
