I am not connected in any way with this store. I just stopped in between job sites today and saw one each of the RPR. 243, 308, 6.5.

Field and Stream Troy MI off of 14 mile road. $1299 each.
Just a heads up for anyone looking for one. They all appeared to be Gen I.

Tell them to eat them at those rip off prices. Brother in law got his for under $1000 bucks in 6.5 creedmoor.

According to my local FFL dealer cost on gen 1 is $900 and Gen 2 is $1000.  Now with that info you can decide how good or not a stores prices might be.  It's still a bargain anyway you slice it and mine in 6.5 is a very impressive shooter.

Thanks for the heads up, but gunbroker has them for sale for $1150, plus $40-60 shipping.

Is a retail outlet suppose to sell them almost at their cost?

For the record, I got my Gen 1 for $1100 as tagged plus tax at a LGS.

I made a random stop today at my LGS, was surprised to see a brand new Gen1 in 308. Almost FO'd at  $1200, but they would likely take a little less. I typically don't make snap purchases like that, even though my 308 search has been semi-serious for a few  months now.

I can definitely see what the hype is about now, lost of turn-key gun for the money.  I may scoop it up tomorrow.

You can order one and shipped to your FFL cheaper than $1200 bucks. Google is your friend.

Best in stock local price that I'm seeing is $1400 for a Gen 2 6.5.

If anybody knows how to beat that then I'm all ears. If not then supply meets demand and all that good shit and I'm going to pick this one up.

If you are willing to get a .308 (if you intend to switch out the barrel) and save $200, Gunbroker has one for $1199.
