That would link to Your phone?

Like as in set it up to below the target, and link to Your phone so You could see Your hit's on the target?

Anybody ever seen such a thing?

Yeah, it looks pretty slick, I just gotta wait till I work some more OT, clean up Christmas, and then I'm going to give it a good hard look.

It would be nice anywhere, I spose, especially at My Friends place, when We can really reach out.

We've used this one very reliably: http://targetvisioncam.com.

They make a 300yd short range version, and a long range version that goes a mile.

Software is pretty good too, allowing not just to see the target but to mark hits, assign colors (i.e. to group one load or shooter), record video or save stills.
Camera creates a wireless network, so any device with wiFi can connect, and over a larger area than other systems.

If you have an old camcorder with a good zoom on it may work and be cheaper too.

How would I link an old camcorder to My smartphone?

I think he just means point the camcorder down range, zoom in to your target, and look at the screen.
Not exactly an answer to your exact question, but a possible low or no cost option to accomplish a similar goal.

I just Opened one of My presents, a 200.00 dollar Visa gift card. My Wife was going to buy Me a DeWalt battery powered Multi Tool, but were OOS, so She gave Me a IOU for 200.00.

I got 400.00 towards a Target Cam. WHOOHOO.

I think the sight in cam was only 359.00. But I will look more later Tonite.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Well, I don't know now, I found a 1280p security camera, with 4 hours memory and a battery that will plug into it, for less then 200.00 By downloading their app, I can move the camera up/don, side to side, and play back the shots, with zoom.

Gotta a lot of research to do tomorrow.

A basic portable video setup made from RC FPV gear would be pretty cheap. Mini camera is about $30. Transmitter that would go 1000' easy is about 40-50 and a RX is 30-50. then all you need is a couple batteries and a small screen. Could do the whole thing for under 200 if you like to tinker.

Here is a cheap camera,

Here is a 5.8Ghz transmitter and RX, I flew 5/8th of a mile on this setup.

Here is a screen.

Feel free to PM if you are interested and I'll be happy to chat about it.

Slap, I REALLY like the idea of building one My self, love this kinda stuff.

What about using something like this?

Security Camera

Power Supply

With this setup, I could use My phone or pad to view shots. From what I see, the camera has it's own router, and My phone could connect straight to it. With the power supply, and a ammo can, I think it would be good to go.

Anyone have any input, I would appreciate it, these little electronic gizmos are not My point.

Thanks, Dave

I just read more comments on it, Maybe it does need a router.

Well, I got it all ordered.

One DIY camera system on the way.

Blow's My mind how easy and cheap it is to do. Less then 200 bucks, AND better camera, and router.
