A little breeze 8-10 mph kept most of us honest and on our toes. Most people shot small frame ARs like 223 guns although a few guys brought their 6.5 Creedmore and 308s out to play. In the end, the 6 ARC and 6 Grendel came out on top. Chicken Farmer by choice hunter of shade tree's and hiding spots by nature.
 SR-15 upper but stripped the bolt, barrel and gas system. Installed a compass lake 15.0” recce bartlein 6mm ARC barrel with wilson combat carbon cutter adjustable gas block and gas tube combo, and a JP matched bolt. Lower is a centurion (place holder until new one arrives) FCD buffer tube, FCD backplate, FCD mag release, Geisselle nation high speed, JP silent capture, and B5 stock. Shoots less than 1/4 MOA with factory ammo. Stacks bullets for days. Scopes also a place holder till I get nicer glass |

I personally love the Venom line. Have both the 1-6 and 3-18 and for the price they cant be beat and are debatably better than most optics even double their price. If you dont need illum and dont want to drop 4 figures on a scope it's the best on the market for that choice. |

The parts bin SPR got an upgrade. The CTR stock kept pulling my facial hairs when I would get a good cheek weld. I have a B5 DMR stock on another rifle. It’s nice but I don’t use half of its features, it’s a little heavy, and twice the cost of the Magpul ACS. I’ve used the ACS in this ”role” before and the hook on the stock works well for supporting with the weak hand. I’m wasn’t planning on dumping any money into this rifle (only parts I don’t have that I had to buy were the BA SPR barrel and the random receiver extension I bought from a buddy), but it shoots so damn well I figured it was worth the small investment. Figured I would add my stick here. DIY Aero build that I finally got running. Never again will I build a large frame AR  I’m not a great shooter and even worse when fitting suppressor mirage as this was my 4 group but first with that ammo at 100 yards. Attached File Attached File |
