So I have a Remington 700 LTR in 308 and was debating whether I should get it threaded for a muzzle brake/suppressor (already have AAC suppressors so I would be putting their Blackout brake on it).  I really want to do it, but the fact of keeping the gun mostly original is what's stopping me.  Plus I can't decide is it would look funny having a suppressor with the barrel fluted the way it is.  I like the way it looks now.  What would you do?

If you already have the suppressor, get that barrel threaded.

I would thread it and if you like the original look a thread protector doesn't make it look bad at all in my opinion. Would it look good? Yes, anything with a suppressor on it(in my opinion) looks awesome.

A properly made thread protector blends in perfect so you cannot tell it's there.

Why are you worried about keeping it original?

It's an LTR, not an heirloom shotgun. haha

Thread that badboy and never look back.

Performance or looks, you pick. Personally it's all about performance.
