I need scope rings for my Leupold Mark 4. It willl be going on a Remington 700 with a 0 moa base. Which height rings do you guys recommend? Seems like medium is the popular choice for 20 moa base but will medium work for 0 moa base as well?

Which scope exactly?

What is your budget?

Steel or aluminum?

Here is a ring height calculator.  It has always worked well for me.

Generally I have used .90"-1.0" tall rings for that setup.

The canted based (or not) won't make a difference in the ring choice for the most part unless you are right on the edge of clearance and have a 20MOA base.  With a 0MOA base though it won't matter.

Don't really have a budget not to sound arrogant but I want to do things right the first time around. I'm considering badger ordnance heard many great things about there products. My exact scope is leupold mark 4 lr t 4.5 14x50mm.

Get some .92" height Seekins Precision rings. Will give enough room for scope caps but not be overly high. I have them on my Vortex AMG on a Rem 700 with 20 MOA base and M24/40 contour barrel.

I am a Badger fan, however, Rob01's suggestion of Seekins works as well.  I generally match the ring material to the base material (not sure why I just do) so that is where I start and then look for the correct height/diameter of rings and then the cheapest quality rings that I can find.

If you want a 20moa rail then LaRue has a Remington 700 package with your choice of rail and 30mm rings for $299 or you can just get the rings and leave the 0moa rail for $210. I use LaRue mounts for all my optics. They return to zero which is nice when removing the optic even if it is just for cleaning the rifle. Just a thought.
