I have one and I already think it is a fine rifle, however the stock is what I can't get past. Anyone know of a stock that can accept detachable mags that would work with this rifle? It has a 20" bull barrel and isn't too heavy but I also would like to keep it as a handy rifle so anything that weighs a ton is out. Also, a chassis sounds easier as well because I don't want to have to get the stock bedded.
Thanks for all the help. |

I used a XLR Element for my savage build. Love it! I have a FCP-SR that I am looking at a chassis for. XLR Element is my current top choice based on price and features. How do you like/run the tang safety with the pistol grip setup? Any other comments/criticisms of the chassis? |

I'm 1000% satisfied Mine is bottom bolt release and they do a great job accommodating that. Feeds very well unlike many savage stocks. I have the tactical stock and it works well with squeeze bag from tab gear. Cheek rest is very comfy and no sharp edges anywhere on chassis. |
