Vortex GEN II wait times > Optics, Mounts, and Sights

Has anyone tried ordering a Gen II scope from Vortex lately? I was quoted at least a month to just process the order and another 4-6 months to fulfill the order.

The scopes are out there at vendors but if you want to get the 40% off with the LE/Mil pricing then your order gets in line behind vendors who already have orders in so it might be a little while.

I ordered using the LE/MIL and had mine if 3 weeks. I just ordered a second and hope it will be as quick.

It can be fast as well depending on where you end up in line and what the demand is for the scope you are getting. Vortex knows their schedule on incoming scopes and orders going out so they are best to give an accurate estimate of time to wait.

I waited over a month and no processing time. Ended up just cancelling mine and going for a NF at a local dealer.

Are you doing the military discount or dealer discount ? I just did mine two weeks ago and had it in just over a week . That's mailing in the form and shipping to me.

I did the military discount route. I ended up getting a burris XTR II 5-25x50. Was at my house in 2 days.

I ordered a 3-15 and a 5-25 When they first came out and just got them a week or so ago. I decided on keeping the 3-15 for my precision AR and put the 5-25 on EE now.

I ordered a second Gen II 4.5-27x56 (MOA) on June 20th. They were backordered 6-8 weeks, but it arrived yesterday.

From date of order to date of receiving mine was about 3 weeks. This was the Razor 4.5-27 model.

After tax and everything my PST gen II on Experticity came to 658. The wait was going to be 5-6 mo. I found it in stock at midway for 699 shipped.

I ordered the PST Gen II 5-25x50 MRAD on 8/21 from Experticity.

I'm really hoping it doesn't take 4-6 months to get it like they said.

Called Vortex yesterday they said 9 month backorder on the PST Gen II.

I cancelled it and ordered a NF SHV F1.

I put a 5-25 FFP PST II Mrad on order yesterday and was quoted 6-9 months. My orders last year were filled faster than the quoted lead time.

Ordered a Viper PST Gen 2 5-25x50 couple weeks ago. ...Your estimated wait time is 2-3 months. (can you hear the computer/digitized voice in the back ground - lol) I'm not in any rush.

I received a very unexpected mail last night stating my scope is on the way... I ordered through Sportsmansguide and used the double member bonus. Paid $820.97 shipped

I ordered my Gen 2 Razor HD 4.5-27x via the Mil/Leo discount program on 9/15, it shipped out the next day and I had it three days later.
