So a few years back I handed my rifle over to my gunsmith and said, I want my rifle to take dpms ar10 mags (he already has a DBM for regular stocks that takes those mags). He said he would think about it, I left for work for about a year and from what I understand as 5-6 prototypes and lots of milling and stress I came home to him just finishing up on the design with just a few little details that we worked through. DPMS 19rd mags worked great with some feedlips mods (minor). But I always wondered about the x25 drum??? SO I ordered one up for shits and giggles. I was surprised to find that the drum needed no mods other then just a light fileing on the side of the mag catch hole and it slid in the DBM with out issues and test fed with out problems.
I give you, for no practical reason what so ever other then this is AMERICA, my barrel burning 6.5 creedmore.
MERRY CHRISTMAS Everyone!!!

Thanks, I know I have posted the rifle a few times over the years so its not new by any means but I just thought it was cool with the drum and all. About the only practical thing this would be useful for would be a range trip with out having to reload.

And that sir, is the beauty of America. That reason alone is more than enough of a reason.

Remington 700 in a whiskey 3 chassis. Lots of machining required for the mags and the action to work.
