My 07 GSX-R750.  It's the only good picture I have so far.  It's currently in my garage awaiting the arrival of spring.  Once the weather warms up I will post better pics.

Do you ride in that weather?

I did last winter but I've been abstaining so far this year.

That was my first choice but I didn't care for the riding position and tall seat height.  It's an awesome looking and performing bike though.

I probably would have preferred one of those over my K6 GSXR1000.

I'll ride if it's cold, but not TOO cold! Down to 30* is my limit so far. I can't find as much enjoyment out of riding when I feel like I have
to worry about my tires giving out due to the cold pavement. Granted, I  take it easier in the cold than when it's warmer out.
And up until this past Monday when it snowed 8 inches, it's been in the 30's and 40's the last few weeks.

I had a 1987 750 Honda that looked as nice as that. I had thoughts of renovating it for along time but finally came to the realization that it wasn't going to happen and had it towed to the junk yard a couple of weeks ago.

2007 softail custom.  v&h bigshot staggerds with baffles removed, K&N intake, PCIII fuel management, Mammoth choppers solo seat.....It's a struggle every month trying to decide whether to buy bullets and powder or make the bike payment.

1978.  I bought this 75 Superglide (second year of the Superglide) with the US Savings Bonds I had been having taken out of my pay check during my eight year hitch in The Canoe Club.  I had just sold my 57 Pan.  That's my son.  He was 30 last Christmas.

1979.  My homespun custom 75 Superglide (Harley introduces the first factory LowRider that year too ).

Bought my Honda new last year, Just bought a new loaded F150 4x4 a couple months ago. Wife would kill me if I told her I wanted to buy something else.

OK, not as cool as nearly any of the other bikes, but it's my first one.  It's a '76  (same as me) Kawasaki KZ400.  My first car was a '73 Mustang Mach I which if you know what they look like, explains the paint scheme.  It had under 14K miles on it when I bought it and I put quite a few on it last summer after painting it.  It had sat for over five years, and I had to go through the carbs and brakes, but other than general tune-up, she runs great! 45 MPG versus about 12 for my F-150 and you can se why I love to ride it!

How it looked when I brought it home

My other project, is also a '76 Kaw, but it's a KZ750, big parallel twin.  It's going to be turned into a hardtailed old style bobber when I get done.

As you might guess I spend more time and money with my guns, so the bikes are not too cool right now!  One day I'd like to have a Harley based bobber.  Dreams...

Thanks, it's done it's part for global warming. The 100 in the background has less than 2k miles on it, but the tank has that dent. The 500 was recently bought for $500. I've had another H1 an H2 750, a Yamaha 350, and a Suzuki T500, two stroke street bikes are just so un-PC, this is the perfect to talk about them.

edit- matter of fact, I'm looking for someone to tell me I'm not crazy to put mini ape-hangers on my Low Rider. I haven't seen this done, but I'd like to see it ride it.

Any input? Is anyone reading this?

I am reading it. Thanks for the kind words.  I do like the mini apes but they are factory.  The next step was new bars with internal wiring and braided lines but never could decide if I wanted to keep the mini apes or put a low sport bar on.  Apes are compfortable but just never made up my mind.  Here is another of my Wide Glide

You have to sit it on something as the bag tapers down at the bottom.  My 50 cal can was sitting on my extra gear at the bottom of the bag.

1983 GS1100E. Got it in '86. Added K&N individual filters, a Stage IV jet kit, and Vance  & Hines pipe. If I hit the lottery today I, would buy some really nice bikes, but I will never part with this one.

In 1982 the GS1100E was liberated from its role of all-around motorcycle. Admittedly it was an awesome machine, and king of the dragstrip, but it was happy in many roles. With the introduction of the GS1100G, the 'E' model could really let loose and go for gold. The engine was breathed on and the styling changed to be reminiscent of the early-80's Katana's, combining speed with function and styling. Power in 1982 was 108bhp@8500rpm, with torque of 67.6@6500. Wet weight was 549lb's.

My boy and his S.O.
