Changed out the orange hands for these.

New Citizen Promaster Eco-drive drive on a cheap Ritchie band.  Long Island bracelet incoming.  Tired of babying my automatics for now.

Just got a new watch in Tokyo at the GS flagship boutique. Best customer service I’ve ever received.

I love the look.  How does carbon fiber hold up to abuse?

Nice!  The Shunbun cherry blossom version (titanium w/ pink dial) is on my short list. The case, hands, and dials on GS’s are amazing. . How was the experience at the boutique?

Incredibly respectful. They had all of the GS models as well as many other brands. They let me try on anything and everything I wanted.

I tried on a few other models but came back to the Skyflake. The purchase process was simple. They took my card and passport and gave me the 10% discount. 15 mins later I had my watch removed from the packaging and they had it set to the perfect time down to the second.

They sized the band for my wrist and I wore it out of the store.

They gave me a 2% gift card that can be used starting the next day for 1 year. I’ll go back to Tokyo towards the end of our trip and pick up a 2nd band.

ETA: this was the flagship GS boutique Wako store in Ginza. It’s in the middle of the best shopping district arguably in the world.

Compared to my Oris which I set to the same time 2 days ago, they’re about 10s apart.

+/- 10s/month is going to be amazing

That's a beautiful watch, and everything I've read about the Spring Drive is amazing.
