Bored at work yesterday so took a pic to show off my Zirconium Tactile Turn pens (I blacked out my name/credentials) and includes my everyday watch (Garmin Tactix Delta). I’ve been on the hunt for a Rolex, Omega, etc but just can’t bring myself to purchase one because I love smart watches and wear them exclusively.

New to this forum. Why do I find gun pic flexing distasteful but love this thread? Watches seem more dignified? Awesome pics guys. Have a 1992 Rolex GMT master that was a HS graduation present, my grandfathers 1977 Bulova Acutron, and a Seiko Pepsi cola diver that turned me onto divers. I find myself image searching vintage diver watches and pine for a vintage zodiac seawolf diver. Great thread. Thanks guys.

Back story ...
I purchased the Zodiac in 1970 at the Washington Navy Yard PX. The watch survived the tours, but the band didn't. Sat in a drawer for over 30 years. Then, on a watch forum, I found a gentleman that did restorations. Contacted him, and made a deal. While the watch was away, I was lucky enough to find an (unused) original band on eBay. Now the Zodiac is back in service. IMG_0029 Zodiac and Tags by Jerry R, on Flickr |
