Gosh, been fairly busy and time just goes by so fast, especially around the holidays...
I've got tons of items to post, as always, so a couple here and there will have to do! Here's two I picked up that are Belforte brand watches, which was a sub-brand of Benrus. One is a civilian variation of the Vietnam DTU -2A/P MIL-W-3818B watch (except it is ETA automatic + rarely seen 4 o'clock stem set), while the other is pretty clearly an attempt at a more modest Omega Ranchero. 
Also picked up another of my favorite Bulova's; this time a 1970 Bulova Accutron Deep Sea World Time. 
By chance, I ran into a mid-1960s Hamilton 600 Super Compressor that I couldn't pass up. 
The most recent acquisition, completely unintentional and way out of character for me, is a 1977 Rolex GMT-Master.

Just a local pawn owner who jumped through all the hoops to make sure it was legitimate before acquiring. He wanted a low enough amount (low...heh...nothing's "low" with Rolex!) that, after I left no stone unturned ensuring it was as good a deal as I thought, it was too good to pass up. Hour and minute hand are tritium, but have likely been replaced years ago. I can't prove it, but it looks that way. Regardless, still not a deal breaker. After all, think of all the mk1 GMTs that had their broken Bakelite bezels replaced over the years! |

Polywatch will only do so much. Thanks for the heads up! Are they Rolex or generic? Not that I necessarily mind either way... I did a brief round of sanding and polywatch to smooth most out. I may replace it at some point, but honestly, I don't mind a little age showing on it, as long as it doesn't get too much on the way! |

There was some really nasty lookin' stuff hiding under that bezel!
ETA: One of my brothers has a ~ 1980 era GMT and over a period of years, beat the livin' hell out of it. Took an expensive trip to the RSC to bring it back to it's former glory. Check in any time. I need to send a shout out to OlCrow too. |

Polywatch will only do so much. Thanks for the heads up! Are they Rolex or generic? Not that I necessarily mind either way... I did a brief round of sanding and polywatch to smooth most out. I may replace it at some point, but honestly, I don't mind a little age showing on it, as long as it doesn't get too much on the way! They have both. I can't tell the difference between the two other than price. |

My dad bought this De Ville in Europe in the early seventies.
It may have come from the jeweler with the Speidel band as that is all he wore. The box is long gone, may not have come back from the trip. 
Went through the wash and never worked after. Was sent out for service multiple times and never kept running. In 2012 I sent it out again and it lives again. |

I bought a Seiko 6309 at the Ft. Huachuca PX in 1986. Had no idea it had any value until some more watch savvy folks at work told me. It's my daily wear watch. (ETA: Serial number indicates a manufacture date in April of 1985)

It has a few scuffs, but still runs great. I recently bought a new Seiko band for it (had been using a "NATO" style band). I probably ought to send it to the Seiko Service Center to have it gone over, but I'm apprehensive about sending it through the mail. |

Here's an unusual Super Compressor watch that I've had for a while, it was made for the South American market for a jeweler in Venezuela. The case is date coded for April 1963. I just love the anchor on the dial on this watch and evidently other people do too since I almost always get comments on it when I wear it.

First off, there are some great pieces in this thread and I appreciate you all sharing what you have.
I didn't see any Breitlings as I scrolled thru so I apologize if this question has already been answered (or is obvious from previous posts). Do any of you recommend someone who can restore a Breitling 765? I have the watch, with no band, and would love to get this thing looking and working like new. Thanks, MPNelson81 P.S.
