Sir, there’s a recall on all Buffalo Trace distillery products. I have to confiscate your bourbon.

You will get reimbursed if you send in a complaint listing the recalled items.

Don't see many on here that make me jealous. I've been looking for one of these for a while. I hear that it's really good juice.

Great stuff. When they announced the change in ownership I bought the last three bottles I could find in my area.

Thoughts in the Caol Ila 12?

Been wanting to round out my Islay collection but have heard mixed reviews

Picked up a bottle of ETL at a local store Friday night. Very hard to find in Oklahoma. Over retail but well under secondary. Good juice.

I almost like the nose on it better than the taste, and that's saying a lot

It actually taste a lot less peaty than you would expect. There is a lot of green apple and citrus notes and of course the good pair lactic that almost all bruichladdich stuff has.

I may just be an EH Taylor whore.
I simply cannot pass up a bottle when I see it.

Alas, no Weller......

Good choices, all. The EHT barrell proof is particularly good.

I have delayed posting as I was waiting for a piece of furniture to be custom built to hold my collection. I am in the process of moving (and finding) by stash and will post pictures as I progress.  I spent the last couple of years on the road and have stopped in every liquor store I cam across to build the collection of my favorites. Some would call it holding, however I recall a few years ago when I could not find my favorites so I now live by the rule if I see it I buy it, always leaving a one bottle behind unless it is the only bottle.

Here is one that I have lost taste for.  Not sure what changed in my palette since I last sipped this. Tried it with and without a cigar, with and without a splash.  Really weird.

I will never find enough of these.  They dried up this time last year after the takeover.  There has too be a lot of barrels sitting somewhere.

These are the only 3 Buffalo Trace bottles I have at the moment.

The Weller SR is a year old and I’m still trying to find a special occasion to have the last pour.

I found the E.H. Taylor this week in Chattanooga, and since I’ve never seen it before...

So, I'm running out of shelf space. Time to expand the storage. I need to clear it off the countertop and get it back onto the wall.
