I'm sorry, but I only made it halfway through. A group of completely uninformed Gen Z's who can't even pronounce the site name rambling "like, totally," on about misinformation from some random article he's reading off his phone. The "flood" wasn't 5000 years ago, or predicted by the vulture stone. The Younger Dryas flooding was significantly older than that. Perhaps even contemporaneously with the building of Gobekli Tepe (and the other sites in the same area). Global sea levels may have risen as much as 400' in as little as a millennium (or even less if you listen to some people), then they ramble off into the Book of Enoch, human-animal hybrids, etc. That is not a good channel. I felt like I was listening to the left side of the bell curve randomly cramming shit together and not understanding any of it. The internet has truly destroyed the minds of the last two generations. |

I doubt he'll be demonetized, might get a strike and video vanished but I think the backlash would make things worse and more popular than the relatively smaller audience he reaches. Likely won't be popping up on recommended videos, though. |

I really like The Why Files and AJ. The show is always interesting, and I find myself looking up all sorts of different things after watching an episode. But that stupid fish is ruining it. It was sort of funny when I first started watching, but the constant interruptions with the same worn out jokes has gotten old. The fish is funny approximately 5% of the time. He should ditch it, or cut it waaaaaaay back.
The DARPA episode was very good, would have been much better without the fish. |

Well, Hecklefish was, is, and will continue to be the channel's schtick for the foreseeable future. Almost 4 million subscribers, and, as you say, it's a huge part of the merch. Hell, I myself have a Lizzid Peeple coffee mug and some HF sctickers on my water bottle and such. Is HF annoying at times? Yep. Overdone in some episodes? Also yep. Andy Petro drowned in a lake for 15 minutes two days before his high school graduation in 1955. As he jumped in the lake that day the water was freezing cold, he struggled to swim out to his friends who were on a floating platform waving at him. After a few minutes he started feeling cramps in his lower abdomen and drowned. While he was at the bottom of the lake he heard a voice telling him to just let go. When he listened, suddenly he was no longer cold or in pain. He looked back and saw his body -- entangled in the weeds at the bottom of the lake. Then he felt himself rushing toward a light. The Light said, “Andy, don’t be afraid, we love you. View Quote Man Dies, Discovers Ultimate Truth About Our Soul's Purpose on Earth, Consciousness & Oneness |

In 1912, a farmer found an unusual, ancient-looking limestone tablet in his field. It seemed to have an exotic language, that he’d never seen before, chiseled into its surface. Over the next 50 years, he showed the stone to family, friends, and even took it to the fair, hoping to find anyone that could decipher it, but no one ever could. Fast forward to the late 1990's, and someone not only deciphered it, but tied it to the legend of Prince Madoc. As the story goes, Madoc sailed to North America from Wales, in the year 1170, 322 years before Christopher Columbus! And not only that, built an ancient castle in Southern Indiana! This film covers the mysterious Brandenburg Stone, unexplained Roman coins found in Kentucky and Indiana, ruins of an ancient castle in southern Indiana, and Native American stories of “white Indians”, that lived along the Ohio River. This is the first film to fully explore this intriguing legend. The story has captivated Southern Indiana people for generations, and continues to this day! It was Oswald, by himself and he was a patsy. Oswald came up with the idea, the CIA found out and instead of stopping him they encouraged him and helped out when necessary. They would swoop in at the last moment and tell JFK that he needs the CIA/FBI to protect him. The CIA got caught with their pants down with the last minute route change and Oswald acted on his own. If it had been planned you wouldn't have seen the clusterfuck afterwards, an off duty CIA officer would have heroically ran towards the shooter and killed him before he got out of the building or gotten him out of the area without issues. This isn't some crazy conspiracy theory, this kind of shit has happened and the CIA/FBI have been caught doing it. I'll even throw in the guy that shot Trump today, they probably knew about it but didn't bother to do anything. |

Neither one of us will ever just "shut up." This just seemed a bit more in-depth than the other videos, but, yeah, it is old ground from a new angle. Still, it required effort and time, and I can appreciate that. If I were honest, the most annoying thing in the new videos, and in fact most of the videos I watch, is the AI-generated content. It's just become so ubiquitous (just look at any site dedicated to "art" these days) that it makes me want to heave. I'd rather look at the same historic, genuine image for fifteen minutes than the AI bullshit. I know, I know...I'm old. Headline: "Old man yells at clouds." And soon there won't be any genuine images left. One of the best analogies I've seen as to AI generated "art" came from a discussion on authorship. If George Martin or some other ridiculously famous author needs cover art, they hire an artist, and they describe what they want. The artist then produces said art, possibly modified by further input and requests from the author. In the end, who should claim credit for the artwork? The artist, or the author that gave the prompts? AI "artwork" is the same. The person typing in prompts is not a fucking artist, they're a monkey with a keyboard. It's starting to annoy the shit out of me. /rant off, /apology for rant on. |

100% spot on! |

Don't immediately discard or love anything because of bias. Ask questions and when disagreeing, explain the reasons for it. This ties in strongly with the Dunning-Kruger Effect: This effect is what the left uses heavily in education/schools and media. Educators and influencers make youths think/feel they must have a strong opinion and stance on everything all utopia like and those opinions are formed at the first peak of the graph - Mount Stupid. Then keep them on that mountain and if they question, attack them for being too open minded, and always attack those they are told are the enemy (I think it's Eastasia today...). After that fixing of opinions while most everything they see is brand new to them (youth, their life is run by the educators and influencers, parents don't even rate 10% of their time, and that is in a caring and loving family), those opinions stay with them as they grow older, unless they were shown otherwise about the real world by family and friends, they believe that utopia that was dictated to them when they were kids will be real someday if they just keep doing what they're told by influencers without questioning any of it. They are literally unable to learn because of all their opinions formed in their youth when at Mount Stupid, they instantly knee jerk run away from any information/opinion/writing that doesn't sympathize 100% with their beliefs. They can be nudged, just a tiny bit, like 1% at a time, over a very long period of time, to learn more and progress to the right of the graph with wisdom and not form such strong opinions in the future (though many still voluntarily stay). This happens on the right just as on the left, and in most every topic from politics to foods. Gib: You aren't her parents anymore, her parents are Axl Rose and Madonna, you can't compete with that kind of bombardment. This forum is one where polarization is extremely visible. People interested in learning asking questions grow while those who already have their opinions decided refuse to even read a paragraph or watch a 3 minute video because "it's all bullshit", thus keeping them on the peak of Mount Stupid, showing it, and adding absolutely nothing to the thread value. The basic rule here is - Don't Do That. LEARN, never stop learning and don't reject information because it doesn't follow your opinion exactly. Forming an opinion and arguing about it (vs some other opinion) is a way to learn new things, as long as information is added to justify the position. Simply saying "bullshit, no" is not favorable content here. We're trying to kick as many people as possible off Mount Stupid by dropping their opinions and starting from scratch. Even then many of us disagree and there's a crapload of bad info out there either by accident or design so it helps to have as many sources as possible, as well as an open mind. I personally don't think people need to have a solid decision on opinions on every little thing until time comes to have to act on them and make one stick. New information is always being released which nudges probabilities around a lot, and there are a billion facets to nudge. I don't think you must hold a solid opinion, but more like guesses and guidelines of what the outline might look like. Being able to argue for an opinion as well as against it is the best way to test an idea out, just in your head, argue with yourself now and again, keeps you alert. Anyway, been saving some sketch of this rant for a while now and figured this was a good place to put it since AJ hit the nail right on the head in the "debunk" section of the video, and to continue to question everything and to continue learning. |

The person who complains most, and is the most critical of others has the most to hide.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident. |

I think it's like reading a book where you want to picture with your imagination rather than some hookey AI looking stuff. Maybe listening to so much Art Bell?
