The wife got a new Dyson "Outsize Extra" vacuum.  Printed a stand for the three Dyson accessories not accomodated by the wall mount.   The asymmetric layout was to accomodate the one wider accessory.

I tried printing B&T G34 frame from SumOne.
Do NOT print it.
He did not combine bodies, merely put them together. Looks fine in Orca, in Fusion I can see gaps about .5mm between the main frame and the rear part with optic mount. Main frame doesnt have a body to combine them

I made my first "real" prints. Up until these, I only printed a couple test pieces and a few other little things from STLs I found online.

I bought a cop car recently and the lack of cupholders and center console storage was very annoying. I downloaded FreeCAD and, after a very steep learning curve, designed and printed these.

The machine is a stock Ender 3 Max Neo.

This blank space is where I wanted it to go. (Disregard the finger pointing, this picture was taken when I was searching for another one of those screw covers pieces)

Those turned out real nice. What material did you use? I'd had PLA parts warp bad in heat when I left them in my car.

I made some cartridge holders. Started with .22LR and .22WMR for my Super Wrangler, then scaled up the concept to .410, and again to 12 gauge. Retention is provided by a piece of vinyl tube that interferes with the cartridge holes.
Attachment Attached File

I also made some strap guides for a DIY chest pouch. Since there wasn't much filament left, I just ran off a hand full of the guides to use the rest up.

One thing I learned from this latest round is that it is nice to have some smaller parts loaded up on the card to use up small quantities of remaining filament. I might set up an extra card that just has those small files loaded just for that purpose. I hate throwing away usable filament, but I also hate finding out the hard way that I didn't have enough to complete the part.

I tried my hand at some acetone vapor smoothing for an ABS part I printed at work on a stratasys machine. Turns out the filament is some weird hybrid ABS stuff that does not smooth very well at all.

On the plus side, I figured out how to make parts have the consistency of modeling clay

Long story short, this isn't a tube from a hardware store. It's from a discarded emergency oxygen mask. I'm sure that the design can be changed easily to work with a more common tube. I just happened to have a few feet of this handy, so I designed that feature around that tube.

Have a few of them in a group and you have a portable ad hoc mesh wifi network.  Same idea the military does with more sophisticated radios to run ATAK, drone feeds, blue force trackers, etc.

Trying out a carbon filter/space heater design for the AD5M.   Two 5015 blowers, a bit over twice the media volume of a nevermore micro v6, and a couple of 60c PTC heating elements.

The 5015 blowers are mounted without hardware, sitting in printed pockets & on printed posts for positioning.  Retentioni is via a slide lid.  The carbon media chamber is secured by another slide in lid.  The heating elements sit in the exhaust path on standoffs with spacers between the two for a gap.

It may or may not hold up in use, we'll see.   Printed in ASA.

Nicely done. Looks similar to a bento box. Maybe create a lid for the fans that holds a HEPA filter on the inlet side to catch the dust and small particles.

Yep, I have it here: https://github.com/DMan0435/Rocket-Case

Fair warning, it uses a couple of custom PCBs, and the files are there for those as well to have them made.  There is also a list of most of the purchased parts, but I haven't gotten to any assembly instructions yet.  It's somewhat straight forward, place some heatsets, solder some wires, and glue down some of the PCBs into place. The step file is there too if you wanted to mod it, and also a link to the instructions on setting up the Rocket AP to work as a mesh radio.

Reworked the recirculating carbon filter for the AD5M enclosure.  Went to a shorter overall height to make it easier to print within the AD5M build volume & increased the media volume.

Final version on Printables has shorter feet, reduced 25mm to 15mm for better build plate clearance.  Still assembles without hardware, using slip lids for fan & media retension.  Really overkill for the volume involved (as is the chamber heater build coming up ...)

I finished up a few rock dragons and dragon eggs.
They turned out well using the Inland rainbow PLA.

It is time to get the slicer out and start to
go to town on yet another printer upgrade for me.  Last
time I did this I learned my lesson in the quality settings
and add just a touch more infill. I have about 6 parts
finished for the next upgrade cycle.

This time I will be upgrading my last remaining Prusa MK 3
to the new Mk 4S.   The hardware should ship in
about a month.

The big "thing" is there is a new high flow print head,
cooling fan which will result in additional 25% speed
bump using the high flow head.  Oh; it should be
able to work with 75% overhangs.

So there will be a less needs for build supports.

[added] - 70% overhangs seem to be near perfect, while 75% seems to work.
NFC option with improved wifi module.

I did see one speed test comparison with Bamboo Labs pushing
to match the 70% overhang test print.   It took a bit of tweaking, but the
Bamboo Labs did get close to the same results; but took an additional
hour time.

4hr print -> 5 hr
used same STL file and re-sliced it
used Bamboo Labs filiment for test.
re-used said filiment on Prusa, and it worked
fine at the faster speed.
