Just want y'all to remember this case, the next time y'all call for the drawing and quartering of all sex offenders. I'm willing to bet the majority of the guys with that tag weren't screwing the pigtailed 7yo next door, but were victims of bullshit prosecution like this guy.

He then witnessed Robert Lee Blevins, 33, 6540 Coliseum Blvd., Gardens of Gulf Cove, taking a photo of the girls with his cell phone. Sheriff Cameron detained Blevins and the girls while calling for a backup deputy. Blevin’s cell phone was confiscated for evidence that contained a photo of the two juvenile girls exposing their breasts to him. Based on the evidence, Blevins was charged with felony Possessing Photographs of Sexual Performance by a Child, and misdemeanor Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. He was transported to the Charlotte County Jail and posted $3,500 bond. The two girls were arrested for exposing their breasts to Blevins so he could take a picture; they were also transported to the County Jail and both were charged with Indecent Exposure in Public/Exposure of Sexual Organs. Both were booked then released to their parents. One girl lives in the area where the incident occurred, the other is visiting from out of state. There's Traci Lords 15, and there's Ellen Page 15, which are two completely different things. Where the flashers fall on the Lords/Page scale would drastically alter my reaction to this. In any case, exercise extreme caution in photographing youthful public nudists. This. And the sheriff is a total dick. Assuming that the story as published is correct. "Sheriff Cameron turned around to make contact with the girls and pulled into a gas station" To do what? Watch for a while? Take his own pics for 'evidence' of the flashing? Waiting for backup? To detain 2 teenage girls? And how did he decide that they were 'underage' ? If they had goods worth flashing/photographing, they sure didn't look like the 15 yr old's I grew up with, admittedly in a previous century........ Most 15 yr old females today, can look anywhere from 15 to 30 depending on dress, etc. As in, they have fully developed, adult female looking bodies - most of them, anyway. And I helped to raise 2 girls, now 24, 20. The pool party's we had, during high school........... lets just say - 'There must be growth hormone in today's milk." IMHO YMMV  See post above. |

The Monsanto Company developeda method using genetically engineered bacteria to produce synthetic BST, knownas recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST). In 1994 the company began marketingthe product under the Posilac brand. (Keough-Ledman, 2007). Posilac canbe injected as a supplement increasing milk production by 11-16 percent(Dobson, 1996).
The safety of rBST is disputed dueto concerns over the effect of hormone residue on human health, despite FDAapproval. Additionally, data from multiple nationwide studies indicate thatthere is no statistically significant difference in rBST levels found in milkfrom treated verses non-treated cows. Furthermore, rBST is orally inactive andspecies specific (Dobson, 1996). The compound must be injected into thebloodstream in order to have affect and will only take affect on bovines. Thehuman body digests rBST like any other protein and injection into humans wouldhave no affect (Keough-Ledman, 2007).
Dueto consumer demand, many dairy cooperatives and grocers have begun selling milkpackaged with a "Hormone free” or "rBST free” label at a higher price thanconventional milk (Keough-Ledman, 2007). Dairy farmers belonging to thesecooperatives have the opportunity to receive a premium on top of their basemilk price in exchange for signing an affidavit agreeing to no longer utilizerBST in their herds. The labeled milk is often purchased by health consciousconsumers, particularly those with children or health conditions(Keough-Ledman, 2007). Now, allow me afix my tin foil hat....OK, it is on. Tell me more about the rise of the dangerous dairy industry. Be sure to cite credible scientific literature. I might start taking people who spew disinformation like this to the Bear Pit.
