I have a "Hunter" brand that looks like the first picture. On the package it said it fits Rugers, 1911's, and some others.
I use it a field holster for both. My Ruger is a Gov't Target and I cut the thread so the muzzle can stick out the bottom.. Not show quality but it works. |

El Paso makes a full-flap 'US' stamped military holster for adjustable-sighted .22's like the Ruger and the High Standard. It isn't cheap, and you usually have about an eight week wait for the holster once it is ordered––they make it by hand for your specific brand/model firearm when you place the order––but the quality is TOP. Never seen any holsters come close to their quality. |

This is the 1902 Military Holster...this one is stamped USMC but they make a US version as well. El Paso sells the direct or you can go to OldTradingPost.com. runs about $120. |
