When did they offer this? Bought my work boots in October. Didn't come with it.

I don't know about Red Wing, but that looks a lot like the ones included with my Chippewas.

It would be kind of hypocritical for Red Wing to have that since they have their boots made in China.

Only some.  They still have a good selection of American made boots.

I prefer not to put my American flags where they're going to get covered in mud and cow poop.

I like the idea, even if hypocritical on the product.  I wouldn't mind getting a couple of those.  I've worn an American flag pin on my "nuclear jewelry" since Sept. 13, 2001.  I wear that at work 95% of the days I'm at work.  Rarely I forget it at home.  Some jobs require it to be removed.

They have been doing it for years.  The last time I bought a pair of boots the guy said that his store was only giving them to kids since they were nearly out and didn't think they were getting anymore.  I go back from time to time for laces and was able to get a couple then.

I'm glad to see that.  I guess I screwed up when I bought my last pair.  I was surprised when I saw the made in China mark.

I have a pair of Chippewas with an American flag on the laces.  It signifys that the boots are made in America.

I bought a pair of Red Wings about a year ago and I didn't get one, but my boots are made in China.

The cheaper boots are made in China.  If you go look at the boots on their website, on the left hand side is a box where you can select Country of Origin.

I'm a tad bit younger than Alex Karas, but most days I don't feel it.
