I've blasted more deer by sitting in a chair next to tree than in a stand.  Good on them using what was there,

That is a nice deer stand.  A stable base, some shelter from the elements and a little concealment....   Everything a man needs.  Nothing wrong with that.....

The guy obviously didn't spend $800+ to buy it from a sporting goods store so it must be shit, duh.

I can't imagine hunting a deer out of a stand, and I don't know how you people back east (whitetail hunters) do it.

I want one of those dozers.

The big dozer will run but the tracks no longer stay tight.

Looks good to me.

Only thing is it might be a little airish when its really cold out.

But as long as it works........

No need to spend a ton of money for a deer stand.

Haha, should have took a pic of my redneck winter doghouse before I dismantled it for the summer.

Flexible plywood 3' high by about 8' long bent into a U shape. 3 x 4 piece of OSB for a top. And a piece of cardboard to cover the remaining hole at the top. The dogs loved it. Had an electric heater in it and all.

Correction––most excellent redneck deer stand cleverly disguised as broke down front end loader!

Looks good to me. Just needs a little time (and an ice storm or two) to blend in... Maybe some wall to wall carpet...
