I have it... I hate it......Want to send a text message? Nope you gotta wait 5 minutes...Okay I want to look at my gallery...Nope not today dude....Alright Fine i will check my E-mail.....Nope FORCE CLOSE... Okay its been 5 minutes Ill try to send that text...Nope FUCK YOU
But everytime I drop it or it gets wet I love it again.
I have one too and, sadly, have to agree with this. I knew when I bought it that it would be "A little slower" (per the Verizon salesman) than , say, a Droid, but it's ridiculous. My wife, who got assimilated by the Borg (iPhone), can have her iPhone out, have a text typed, have it sent and have the phone back to sleep and put away before mine loads up the messaging!
However, I also have to agree about loving it every time I get it wet. I work outdoors a LOT, so the water resistance is important to me. We were in GA on vacation a few weeks ago and went tubing down the Toccoa River. I was in water up to my waist, had the phone in my pocket (under water), and took it out, waited the appropriate amount of time for the photo app to load, took pics of the wife and kids, shoved it back in my pocket and went back to tubing. Try THAT with an iPhone (without an expensive case, anyway)!
Having said that, I'll NOT be getting another one when we renew our service plans. If there is a different phone that does the same thing, all well and good. Otherwise, I suppose I'll be assimilated and just buy the water resistant case. I HATE Apple with a flaming passion, but everyone I know with an iPhone LOVES it and they seem to work very well.
