Not domestic rabbits but wild rabbits running free....

In all the time I spent in the woods, I have never seen a rabbit cross a creek or stream. In the mud along the banks I have never seen rabbit tracks that head into the water. When the creeks are frozen over I have seen tracks and droppings on the ice. Never have actually seen a rabbit cross water though....

I had a deer swim past me out in the middle of a lake when I was fishing once.

Never heard of the "Swamp Rabbit" but a search on Google does show that the Swamp Rabbit is a good swimmer.

Here in Kansas we have just the plain Cottontail and very scarce Jack rabbits. I don't recall ever seeing one of them in the water.

I have.  When I was a kid, we used to hunt the swamp rabbits with beagles.  Often they would take to water to shake the dogs.

No, only domesticated rabbits.  I grew up on the St-Lawrence River and we would visit many islands where we grew up.  Sometimes we'd bring a pet rabbit with us and let it go about 20 yards from shore.  It would swim to shore, dry off and graze on grass.  They are strong swimmers.

I've never seen a rabbit do it but I have no doubt that they can. Twice I have seen an Armodillo swim across a neck of a creek when I surprised them, I didn't think they could swim but they can.

I would think most animals could swim if they were forced to, except land turtles and pet rocks.

My cousin and I were out in my aunt's lake and we saw something swimming across the lake. We thought it was a beaver but it was a rabbit.

None of our rivers have water in them this year.  The rabbits don't mind sand.

Yes, quite often. Lots of swamp rabbits in Fl.

Chased a jackrabbit across a grassflat in the moonlight in a jeep that was running so fast he literally ran halfway across a slough he came too.  He just left little skip marks on the surface for thirty feet before he finally bogged down.  We figured he must have had some spiritual power.

Yes, spooked a rabbit while bird hunting in a wetland piece, cotton tail swam across a beaver pond, we stopped to take bets if the resident snapping turtle was going to be eating good that day.

We have plenty of marsh rabbits here in central Florida that cross swamps and other shallow water.  Never seen one swimming, but I'm sure they can.
