Nah, not doing it for me. 30mm > 20mm.

Plus the Cobra looks like someone took a Huey, rolled it on its side, and then smashed it with a really big hammer. Which, in reality, is kinda sorta what they did

Why not, Russian made, rotor blades that have explosive charges, jettisonable canopy, and eject.  I'm sure it is safe.

I think I found the reason.

Now their fixed wing ejection seats, well, they seem to have that shit down pretty well.

On the bottom one, does he just reach down and pull the trigger for the nose gun or what?

I mean, just because I put a pintle and a 240 on my Taurus doesn't make it an APC anymore than that's an attack chopper,

Worked with both AH-1W's and AH-64D's the Apache trumps the Cobra anyway of the week and twice on a Sunday, endurance, weapon accuracy, survivability, speed and stealth.

You know the sound; it is unique...  It can mean salvation and damnation in one fell swoop. For our guys, it meant help is on the way and to many, it was an angel of mercy; to others it was the Grim Reaper himself on wings of vengeance.

My choice is a classic icon of military aviation...

Not sure, but I think they worked out the kinks with the rockets.
Last I heard, the Supreme council of american death machines upgraded it so that the canon safety fuse is long enough to be lit from the cockpit, as the old design was having problems with the cigarette lighter blowing out when the pilot reached out the window.

BUT, if we are going with anything other than the Apache. This little bird gets my vote. Always had a thing for the nimble AH-6.

ETA: And not to get the thread off the subject of attack helicopters, but I have to insert a pic of my favorite non-attack chopper ever made. RIP

Love the Lil Bird and the Kiowa but the Apache is and will be for many moons to come the Beast of all Beast.  Oh and Airwolf was badass........Every time we heard an explosion 2 Kiowa's were first up and so I have a place for them.

I did too, I'd always lose the codes so I would have to start over. I've almost bought Segas on ebay numerous times specifically for this game.

Gotta love a game about hadjis running around DC with AKs and tacticals.

And my vote is for the Comanche also!
