Obviously you've never driven to Kiabab National Forest.

The Navajo who see on the way there look very much the same as they did 100 years ago. With the possible exception of more modern style cowboy hats.

It took four of us to restrain my Navajo friend from tearing the poor guy limb from limb when this poor asshole said he looked Asian.

I have not. I have lunch with an Indian girl I went to highschool with once every couple of weeks, she has very Caucasian feaures. Most indians I see have normal faces except for signs of F.A.S. in every other one.

Last I heard, they came over the land bridge from Siberia at least 6000 (or was it 12000?) years ago.

Maybe I'm just a dumb paleface, but why does your Navajo friend have a problem with his ancestry?

No, they look Asian.
Because that's what they are.
Dress them up like Hmong or Nung and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

It's not that big of a deal. I'm sure that if you walked into an Apache bar and yelled really loud, "HAHAHA YOU GUYS LOOK LIKE PIMAS." They'd have a good laugh and buy you a beer.
