I like how you think sir. However, I believe it refers to all feeding devices (such as the garands en bloc clip) soo I am not quite sure it would fly, lol

belt fed is banned in NY also.

It does mention feeding devices, so i propose this as the 1st loophole. Detachable links in 7's that can clip together in a "Similar" concept as clipping mags which seems to still be legal as long as they are 7 round.
Remove the pistol grip, add non threaded barrel,

And since this seems to still be legal replace the bayonet lug with a chainsaw lug.

Before all the stupid, I was looking at picking up one of those. IIRC, the links need to be upside down because of the lack of a feed tray cover. There is a port on the right that the links drop out of.

It has to do with the feed mechanism on that particular model.  I know, it's bass ackwards, and the machine gunner in me would fuck it up everytime I loaded it. Brass to the grass damn it!
