It's time for a toothed, tailed, wings turn into claws, chicken. Jack Horner wants to genetically modify a chicken. I say selectively breed for one.
Out of all the millions of chickens born on chicken farms, there must be a few that have long tails, teeth, or freakish claws instead of wings. Go low tech and offer $1000 dollars for every freakish chicken. Breed those up and BAM-Pretty soon we can buy C.(hicken) Rex at Petsmart for $104.99.

You do realize this is how most of those Sci-Fi horror movies get started right?

I think the dinos BECAME the chickens (and other birds)

Well, bring 'em back. I can buy genetically modified fish that glow. Tailess rats, and furless cats, is a toothed, tailed chicken too much to ask?

Yeah, but the part where the teenage couple goes and hides to make out then gets eaten is usually the best part of the movie.....

My dark brahams look like raptors when they run, I think its the feathers on their feet that make tham wobble like a dinosaur.

Now we're getting somewhere. Any tails or teeth?

Are you suggesting that a population composed entirely of females can... breed?

1 or 2 of them dinosaur chickens wouldn't be nothing.

Fascinating. Thanks for the link.
The marketing for a dyno-chicken will be incredible. The first ones will sell for millions.

Are you suggesting that the word "chicken" is gender specific?

Take a look at a flock of wild turkeys and get back to us. I know they're not exactly Velociraptors but you'll see what I mean when you see one walk by up close.

Do they remind you of the dinosaurs of your youth?

No, of course not. I actually still prefer the featherless dinos I saw illustrated in my books. But I'll have to roll with the times if more dinos turn up with gigantic feathers.

When they do succeed in designing one, I want one. A pet raptor would be bad-assed. I'd take him for walks and I'd be the envy of town.

They can be housebroken, right?

I'm sure we can get Old Painless or Aimless to comment on the evolution of dinosaurs into chickens. IIRC they were around back then and should know.
