Stevie Nicks stole all the thunder, but C. McVie was the better singer.

Did some very good (but limited) solo work as well.

If that's a current pic she's holding together pretty good for a 70-year old performer.

No, not a current pic.

She's retired from performing as well.

She was not a 'better' singer, she had a different range and style.  Both of them made excellent recordings.  Nicks was probably more interesting to watch live (besides the eye-candy factor).  McVie was definitely a better musician, and certainly less of a primadonna.  Depending on which chart you're looking at, both of them had quite a few top-40 hits, but Stevie has a slight edge with their only US #1.

She had a much better voice than Stevie. I think she also had a masters degree
in music.

Well, she's a better singer to me.

I like them both, I prefer Christine though.

Most musicians I know feel the same. I can't take that wicked witch of the west voice Nick's has.

Not only was she underated but I think Fleetwood Mac was underated.

I also think Lindsey Buckingham was one of the better guitarist around
in those days.

She was an excellent singer.  I felt she was always in the shadow of Stevie Nicks because of Stevie's looks.
