How long is the AUG and what is the minimum legal length? 26"?
|

But an sbr will balance better. I have an aug and love it, but it isn't exactly an sbr in weight and handling

Bullpups = fail.
I do not like having the chamber that close to my face. |

If I had to carry a rifle daily in a low risk enviroment I would carry a bullpup.

Its a valid concern, ever watched a KB in an AR15 personally? I have and it did not injure the shooter because it was not close enough to his face to hurt him. He got some gas blow back but other than that he was ok . If it happens with a bull pup your face is going to be much closer or over it depending on the rifle. No thanks |

Have had 2 AUG's since they came in the country back in the '80s. My favorite is the black stocked 16" barreled one. I don't shoot the green 20" barreled one much anymore.
The chamber close to the face argument is so stupid. I shot bullpup .50's for almost 15 yrs. Blew one up. a .223 isn't shit. |

The point is, that it will be much easier to keep the rifle shouldered and on a target for a longer period of time with the weight more rearward than a SBR. It's also the reason why the IDF wanted something like the TAVOR. |

I understand that, I just do not trust it and do not care for the design . Puts the muzzle flash and blast close also, and the mag changes are not what I like as well. I have watched KB's with other guns and I just am not comfortable with it, not telling you , that you should not get one if you do not have it already. Thats just not something I enjoy, I shot an original AUG years ago not my cup of tea. |

Exactly, not to mention having it balance to the rear means it will be easier to transition from target to target at a higher speed and get the rifle stopped quicker. |

It most likely would never get fired, and in truth thats not a bad idea especially with everything going on. I imagine in three years it would be a good return on investment. |

If you're in an open environment your standard setups will serve you just fine. If you're in a tight urban environment with a LOT of buildings, the bullpup would serve you better, as you could maneuver quicker with a 16" bullpup in a building than a 16" AR or AK, or even a Socom II. |

That's why I love my PS90 had to register as a pistol until recent state law change. Unfortunately we can't have SBR in MI so bullpups are good alternatives. Although I love my PS90, I want a SBR real bad

Usually shoot the SBR one click back from full closed, so SBR about 1 1/2" longer or so. |

I've got a PS90 and am not too worried about the repercussions of a malfunction. Something larger like a .223 or .308, however, does make me a bit nervous. Obviously something makes you feel differently. Can you expand on what that is? |
