Slammed Honda Civics and Mazda Miatas with the wrong season tires cause you cant find the lug key.

I think you'd see more than a few old Deuce and a Halfs and 800 / 900 series 5 tons decked out as gun trucks.
They'd be the coolest of all the technicals, for sure. LC |
|
Honestly, probably just a lot of the FSA doing this to people to take their stuff.
Why .308 is good. |

Have a truck?
Have a big gun? Combine the gun and the truck? Got yourself a Gun Truck. |

Bitchin' Camaros. Doing donuts on the lawns of governor's mansions.... |

With all the large privately-owned trucks in this country, I believe we would show the world what a real Technical should look like.
|
|
with the apaches, and drones, id say you better be low profile, and walk, or keep that big shit hidden.

I'm thinking anything that obvious would be obliterated by a drone in short order. In first world asymetric warfare, the guys on the short end of the stick would have to learn stealthy approach, quick strike and stealthy escapes/evades, or they'd be ground round PDQ.

what's up with that new Super Duty in the 7th pic. Is that a storm tracker vehicle or from a movie? Doesn't look like your average rebel truck.

Does Haji not have heavy duty pickups? No F150, 250, 350s over there...no dual axles? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7b/Ali_Hassan_al-Jaber_Brigade.jpg Hard to get the replacement coil packs they eat. Hiluxes run forever, pretty much. |

I always thought one of those little Bobcat front loaders could be modified in to a small self propelled anti aircraft gun. Take the bucket off the front and add a couple of .50 cals or 20MM guns.

I'd pay money to see that third truck fire that 76mm (looks like turret off a BMP)
all in all, Quad 50 FTW,,,,,,,fu#k up a drone from cover,,,,,, |

I'd have a Corolla, an Accord, or a Volvo station wagon, with a "coexist" sticker on the back.

Killdozers, narco tanks (lots of machinists, scrap steel and such, and heavy duty trucks, combined with anger and imagination), gun trucks being armed with live MGs. A number of the military vehicle collectors have rebuilt some of the old Vietnam gun trucks. Steelsoldiers.com has a special section of the forums dedicated to them.

If you could even see a drone to shoot at that is. Plus, if you can shoot at one, you don't have any cover... Have fun with a hellfire. |

I grew up at the base of that mountain. ETA: That mountain is in my avatar. |

There are no big trucks in the Middle East or Africa. Its all the little Toyota Hillux and other tiny trucks, usually with little diesel engines. The large F-series and such are mostly a North American thing. |

Most countries don't have anything larger than what you've shown, especially the ME. It's either light small trucks like that, or commercial vehicles. Though, I did see a "lil' red express" in Iraq. |
