So my wife asks me "Who did you buy those things for again????"
Threw a bushnell TRS25 and a weapon light on my youngest rifle. 
My oldest got a pistol and I threw a light on it, but none of my extra mounts would work on the rails on the gun (go figure nerf doesn't use 1913 spec rails). Also came with just a 6rd mag!!!! Bought him a 18rd mag and extra ammo and it just did not look right. SO I ordered up a stock for it...my boys first SBR!! 
After: 
Might even engrave some SBR marking on it for the hell of it (his name Trust Austin Tx). |

Hell yeah, I may very well rattle can them!!
Kids were kinda WTF!?!? Then they used them to clear the house while going to bed. The youngest is hooked, the oldest can take it or leave it. My Youngest (9yr old) actually goes with me to the range so this was kinda a way to let him have similar toys.

I modded the boys Nerf Mavrick Revolvers so the cylinders open out all the way, shimmed the spring with a few pennies and removed the air restrictors. Got all his buddies wanting the mods too *grin*. |

Definitely needs a rattle can paint job! I took one of my son's Nerf guns and covered all the silver painted parts and the orange end of the barrel and painted the rest black and then I did another one for me in brown. Found an old camera bag strap that clips on for a sling and he was a happy camper. Of course now he wants me to do them all like that.
