I have this one.  It was $5 from Amazon and was so frigging silly I just had to have it.  It's actually well made!

I think it would be a good idea for a house clearing gun.  I should get one for my Glock 17. It could help prevent a badguy from batting your pistol with his hand.

What I would like to see is something designed like a M203 built to fit on the bottom rail of a full size hand gun.

That holds a 2.5" .410 shell...Would be a fun toy.

Nobody I know admits to owning to one, so, no, I have never seen one in the wild.

The standoff device is the nicest part of the setup.

What the hell is the point of the mount even extending up and in front of the muzzle, creating a need for a cutout?

It prevents the slide from being pushed out of battery.

I have one but I don't keep it mounted. It's for clearing the house if needed, keep them from trying to grab the barrel. I'm not actually going to try to stab anyone with it unless shit gets real shitty.

My first sighting of a pistol bayonet I bought it for a fucking high price. TSA took it. That's like three fails. The good news is I could undo one of the fails for a tiny price.

I don't think I'd want one.  I didn't use the one I was issued and I wouldn't use the one for a pistol.
