In the 60s and 70s I was driven around North America in the back of a Chevy Station wagon.  I loved them then, I'd love one now!

For the odd factor. 66 or 67 AMC Marlin. But I could go early 60's, 61 Impala SS 409 or plain327 Impala, four speeds of course. Mustangs, Camaros, Chevelles, Darts, Fairlanes are to ordinary.

It's not the fastest car, but I think this is the coolest thing ever made.  The 356 Speedster.   Sadly, they start out at 250k nowadays.

I have always had a thing for the '70. I owned one which I sold after I married my wife.
First car was a '69. Had a '69 Bee and 70 Dart with a monster big block too.
But yeah, the '70 Charger RT is the one that makes me drool.

MOPARs were always the best. 1969 Super Bee is my favorite, with a 1969 Charger a close second. I love round tail lights.

There are dozens of cars from the sixties which I'd love to own now -- American musclecars, E-type Jags, almost anything Italian.

And I've owned many of them, too -- although not at today's prices! In high school and college, I had (not all at once) a '62 Corvette, a pair of '64 GTOs, a '69 Firebird convertible, a "66 Chevelle SS, a "61 Alfa Giulietta Spyder, a '69 Alfa 1750 Spyder, a "66 Catalina 2+2, a '65 Mustang, a '68 Mustang, and probably half a dozen more I can't remember right now. My friends and I bought, sold, and traded cars like baseball cards. The thing that makes me wistful now is the fact that I didn't pay more than $2200 for any of these cars.

The one that really still turns my crank, though, is the one that got away. A guy I worked with had a Bizzarrini Strada. and I could've bought it from him for $6000. I simply couldn't afford it.

The convertible 2000GT used in "You Only Live Twice" was never offered as a production model. Toyota built two cars specifically for the movie. Apparently Sean Connery was too tall to fit in the car. They tried a targa top, but Connery's head stuck out an looked ridiculous. When asked about a convertible Toyota said it wouldn't be a problem. The thing was the didn't have any convertibles and had never built one. It only took them two weeks to build and deliver the cars. I always thought that was kind of cool.

If you love round tail lights then you probably love the '68 and not the '69 Charger.

My favorite though is the '69 Daytona Charger.
