I've posted a thread before of making Dim Sum.  I've made the BBQ Pork Buns and they're my wife's favorite Dim Sum.  They are a bit time-consuming to make but well worth it.

Here is some Siu Mai I made:

There is a place in Boston I used to go to with one of my professors during my fellowship.  He would take a group of us about once a week.  There is so much variety I could literally eat it every day.

Yes it does!  I've also made Har Gow which is really neat since it is translucent and you can see the shrimp filling inside.  These are pictures from google:

They're hot pockets that ended up in the frige instead of the freezer. Now the op's passing them off as Gourmet.  Like forgetting the ice creams still on the counter, so one post them up as home made frosty's.

Ask for his recipe

Yup! A place near me likes to bake the char siu bao, they come out with a nice crispy golden brown crust but still nice and moist on the inside.

Chinese food.  It's brought out on carts which circulate around the tables and you pick what you want.  They either stamp your bill or count the number of steamers that are at your table.  It's really cool.

Another one I like is steamed sticky rice wrapped in banana or lotus leaves.  There are pieces of chicken and sausage mixed in with the rice.

Growing  up near SF's Chinatown spoiled me on Dim Sum.
