If I became insanely rich, I would get a Barrett 82A1 and a nice Thompson reproduction.

I have no real use for either of them, but damnit I want both of them. skip the fiveseven pistol - get the ps90. theyre almost the same price anyway I'm really thinking about it. Most of my "personal protection" pickup gun use is for those man eating gophers and the occasional coyote. a PS90 would work well for that if they shoot worth a shit. I've finger fucked one but I have never shot one. |

Then again, I quit trying to find a reason for the guns I own a long time ago.

Ruger No. 1 in 45-70 Sharps in 45-70 View Quote I've owned both, and they are both tons of fun to shoot, but the Sharps is more fun than the Ruger. I shot a 6" square 3/8ths thick steel plate @ 50yds with the No. 1, and it sent the plate, hangar and all end-over-end about 10ft (it was on a fairly light frame). The plate was so badly dented by the bullet that I had to cut it off and weld on a new one. My next .45-70 will be an 1873 cavalry carbine, just for the hell of it. |
