he ordered a custom engine, and it was disappeared by ups. they refuse to help him.... so, . he gets mad and makes this video... which leads to a tip, about his motor being for sale on ebay. .ups actually  sold off this guys expensive, custom machined engine parts... as scrap / undeleverable / junk..    and refuse to reimburse him for anything..... even though he had insurance. and the shipping cost him a shitload of cash as well.

later contacted by ups, and asked to take the video down....

then he finds his motor on ebay for sale... and gets revenge.

Yup.  They're so large there is no one to hold accountable.

I've had UPS screw up two ammo orders in two weeks.  Both came from SG Ammo (great to deal with and hands down best prices/stock).  First was supposed to go to the customer center for pickup when I got back from vacation - instead, two cases of 5.56 sat in the Northwest rain for 4 days.  The second order I paid for guaranteed delivery window a day before a trip.  The package didn't show on the guaranteed day, let alone the guaranteed two hour window.

They said they had it at the customer center waiting for me to pick up (this one was supposed to go to the house), but when I got home, 1K of Speer was soaking in the rain again.  The next week I received a delivery confirmation with "customer signature" suggesting that I signed for it at 6:05pm... 5 days after they left it on the porch.

Told UPS I wanted my $8 back for the guaranteed window, they said fine - then charged me again!!!

As frustrating as that was, this guy's problem is off the charts!

I hope this video gets him some traction and that the whole thing doesn't get blamed on internal theft.  If UPS knew it had been sold while still having the packing slips inside and out, as it seems by their final response to him before the video, there is really no defensible explanation that they should be able to skate on.

Wow . . . this is surprising as shit . . .

It's usually USPS that looses shit . . .

. . . normally, UPS just breaks it.

my guess:

some bozo in warehouse dropped it off forklift, whatever, got scared, and shitcanned it w/o telling anyone.  the rest is a big corp doing what it does best.

Wow, that is some BS.

He should get a lawyer involved and sue. The main goal should be a social media smear campaign.

Perfect season to do it....have everyone go to FedEx or USPS to,ship holiday gifts instead of UPS.

E-Bay seller obviously knew he was in possession of stolen goods.
He should have had the motor seized & pressed for a prosecution.

Actually, the owner said the E-Bay was an upstanding guy.  The E-Bay legally owned the motor parts.  He had no idea what was going on until he was contacted by the owner and he cooperated with the owner.  E-Bay seller was a victim of UPS too.

He's not bashing them from what little I cared to watch.  He's attacking UPS.  Two different companies.  UPS freight was formerly Overnite.  They specialize in heavier but still less than truck load shipments.  Thus they are prepared to lift and move heavier items.

From a quick look it seems that engine weighs at least 220 lbs.  That's simply to much for the average person to lift safely.

So far this year, UPS has "undeliverabled" a $250 metal shelving unit and a $250 solid hardwood cornhole set.

Luckily, Amazon sent me replacements no questions asked.

Well UPS said he legally owned it - that's debatable.
Since he found packing information with the real owners information on it he should have known that is wasn't actually "abandoned."
Either way, rightful owner shouldn't have had to pay for it twice, he should have had it seized.

UPS is the only one I can count on to actually get packages to me on time, or even early. FedEx has sent me postcards requesting my address and USPS just does whatever the fuck USPS wants. I wish there were other options.

Yes. I made my own (a quality set) for $120. I've got no problem seeing $100 in labor. Took me probably 15 man hours to make them. Lots of sanding and painting.

Yep, it said they needed my address. So, I called them and told them my address, to which they said that they needed MY address and not the one they sent the postcard too . It took a minute for them to comprehend that the address they sent the fucking postcard to WAS my address
