Normally we just ignore the majority of the dumbass shit my niece posts on Facebook, and she ignores the stuff we post (I'm sure she just thinks we're ignorant racists anyway), but yesterday she commented on my wife's link with the following: Racism is a system in which a dominant race benefits off the oppression of others. Racism is sometimes simplified as one group not liking another, and think "racist" and "prejudiced" are interchangeable. But racism is a concept that operates on both an individual and institutional level. It is impossible for black people to be racist. That's a whole lot of herp, with a sizeable side of derp. But, being my niece, I didn't even know how to respond other than just calling her a fucking moron (which I did not do). This, folks, is what $200k worth of tuition at a liberal university buys these days. We are doomed. It also makes me glad that my daughter (who attends a $33k/year private university) has grown up to be the conservative young woman that she is. Then again, the professor in her "Ethics in Criminal Justice" class last semester openly stated that he thought Hillary Clinton was a traitor and should be put in prison on the first day of class. The concept you missed that she threw out at you was "dominant culture/race".
Whitey is the "dominant culture/race" so only whitey is racist. What that $200K worth of education has taught your niece is to define the terms and therefore the argument the way she wants it to be defined. TL;DR - Niece attends $50k/year liberal university and has turned into a white-guilted, vegan, socialist feminazi. there are plenty of colleges where you can get a quality Poli Sci degree for a 4th of the cost. And as a pro-tip many don't turn out to be flaming liberals.

A friend's daughter is a sophomore in high school and she repeated that same thing verbatim. I thought it was strange that such an opinion could be peddled while the CIC and AG are black. And every major city is practically run by blacks. It's not as if black people are totally unrepresented in the "power structure" of the US. If people had to pay cash for college or get merit based scholarships, completely different choices would be made.
Instead, to promulgate liberalism and to support their allies in academia, the libs have setup student loans and grants. Disruptions like that in the marketplace cause poor decision making. Oh well, hopefully the current generation of libs being produced by academia will learn a hard lessen when they realize Obama made their student debt non-dischargable in bankruptcy so most of them will effectively be debt slaves govt.org for the rest of their lives...Unless of course they vote for Bernie who will eliminate student debt. |

I assume to keep them coming back for more and more hours. he told me he is done with those charities. all his service hours now will be Boy Scout related. the last 2 weeks he and an Eagle Prospect have been making sensory boards for blind babies as an Eagle Project. amazing how quickly smart youth see thru the liberal agenda and BS. |
