Hilarious, system tells me I have a mention, then sends me back five pages to where there is no mention

stop using the mention feature. It's worthless. I'll see you, I don't go anywhere else on this site.

Gotta set the tone early.

Marriage is a series of compromises.
Dating is straight bargaining.
Be willing to walk away from the deal and make it known that's an option you're willing to take.

LMAO

Fair enough.

These days I'd take yummy smashed potatoes over beer, though. I know, I'm lame. I've come to accept it.

Not lame, I get it. It's a struggle sometimes, but I know that if I tell myself I'll eat the taters and skip the beer, I won't follow up on skipping the beer. I'll change it up come late January/February.

It’s so so. I told you I might not keep it around but I sort of like it. I think my issue with not being 100% happy was that I was comparing a $350 knife to a $1000+ knife. It’s actually very nicely made and it might stick around after all. Not sure.

I guess I never posted my CRK Sebenza 31.  My bad.  Bog oak inlays with a Magnacut blade.  Beautifully made and finished.  Their packaging embarrasses knives costing 3 or 4 times this one.  I'm going to take the sheath to Florence someday and have a jacket made of its leather.

And just because I know some of you like watches, my brother treated himself to this Breitling. Ages ago, Breitling, being a pilot's watch, made a series of watches representing the various military acrobatic teams around the world.  USA, Japan, France, Great Britain and Italy.  They were only sold in their respective countries.   The USA was represented by the Blue Angels, which is the one I have.

My brother always wanted the Italian one and went he was in Milan last week or so, he went into a Breitling boutique to browse.  He mentioned to the lady there about the watch and she said they actually had a brand new one in their safe that never sold from over 20 years ago.  Once he put it on, he never took it off.  Cool watch and nice score.
