The wife is in Loveland at a Clinton Anderson horse training clinic. The Man Cubs and I decided to go fishing, and coyote shooting.
The weekend started out awesome.     ...... Then, Little Man stuck a treble hook into my forearm, and I had to push it through and snip the hook  In the process, because I'm so friggin' awesome, dad decided to use the Leatherman with the knife open to snip the hook.  The oldest was cool and calm, and followed commands, and asked what to do. Little man freaked, and wouldn't allow me to irrigate and suture my own hand..... Like Super freaking.... So I went to the ER. I made them a bet, on the 30mi drive to town, that it would take 4 sutures.... BAM! Dad's always right.  After that, we went back fishing....   The rattles were thick today, as well.... Always teach your kids to be aware of their surroundings, and watch their feet.  |

I was gonna flush it with Iodine, and sew it up, but Little Man was freaking, so I decided to put out the coin. Lol

Once I was fishing a levy break with my dad and bounced a jig with a 2oz head off the back of my dad's skull. He about fell out of the boat into the tide change wash. Another time we were bank fishing and he slipped off a rock and cut the hell out of his shin while I was laughing at him. Kids are dangerous.

My dad took the cover off of an old Johnson outboard when I was you, and tried to get it started. We were at my grandfather's fishing camp in Louisiana, and about a mile and a half from shore. The motor started, and the fly wheel cut all of the tendons in his left hand. We had to paddle to shore and drive to the hospital.
