Does this exist?  Something like a 10/22 in a 22 mag?

Not that I don't appreciate the 22lr, but sometimes I wish that the cartridge had a little more range and power.  Looked online and couldn't find much besides some overly expensive junk guns.

Ruger used to make them and other manufacturers did too but the thin high pressure cases caused problems.

It was discontinued years ago.

I just spent some time shooting the CZ 512 American in .22 Magnum.  It was accurate, and a blast to shoot.

Ah, I hadn't thought about that.  10/22 blowback action probably wouldn't work well at all

There's always the Kel Tec CMR30. Never shot one and don't know if they're worth a damn, though.

My father had one of these that I used to shoot when I was a kid back in the early 80's.
It functioned well

Ray Vin and 22 magnum AR uppers using BDM llc mags sold here.

I don't own one myself, but I have been eyeballing them ESPECIALLY since Black Dog Machine makes mags for them.

10/22 Mag is an excellent rifle if you're willing to pay the premium they go for now, my Grandpa had one when they first came out that I shot a lot, loved it and should have bought my own when they were cheaper. I'll have to continue settling for the Marlin bolt action leaning in the corner.

The 17 hmr were recalled and rebarrelled in .22 Mag.

the 597 in 22 mag is now the model 6950 I believe.  Could be wrong on that.

I found both, took a little work but not impossible. The much beloved Academy Sports had one of the PMR-30's and I found a CMR when I posted on here and a fellow arfcommer who worked at a gun shop told me they had some.

Kel-Tec is odd. They have neat designs that are sought after for rifles and pistols (though I hate the way they make their plastic parts look sometimes) and then don't have near the capacity to meet demands.

I believe the I heard this was because they don't want to spend money expanding and then get stuck with too much capacity but that has been their reasoning for over a decade now when they could have been selling 2-3x what they actually make.

Not to mention they only build in batches so they can go a long period of time not making anything that people are hunting for causing the demand to remain sky high.

Some of us chose to keep em.
They work just fine, even smoothed out the trigger a bit and bedded it.
Edit :
Sorry that was my 17

My .22 wmr semi auto rifle: BRNO ZKM 611, a sort of cousin to the CZs.  Rare and expensive this side of the pond, it was something of a grail gun for me.  Mine just has the six round mag, 10 rd mags are rare as hens teeth and crazy expensive:

And yes, the big screw at the left rear of the receiver means it's a takedown.

Volquartsen makes a .22 WMR semi with a great barrel and trigger.

I don't know what your budget is, but it's hard to beat a Volquartsen.

If you want something unique, you might be able to find an Armi Jager Galil copy in 22 Magnum like this one.
