I am working on a SOPMOD clone and I cant seem to find the buttstock that is in this picture. I have tried google but all that comes up are the 6 position stocks. Does anyone know of any good online retailers that sells this four position stock?

MA Parts

unless you want a colt, there are some NIW on ebray $$$$$

Closest one to Colt on the market

http://mapartsinc.com/shop/details.asp?id=1592&iCat=21&iSubOne=397&iSubTwo=408

The 4 pos tube, you will have to find separate, unless you get the Colt.

MA Parts is where I got mine.  It's like $25 for the stock, or $60 for the stock and buffer kit.

Ok thanks. Do you have any experience with this stock? Is it quality or some UTG junk?

You are looking for an "N" stock which is the mold mark under the latch.

UTG is no longer junk.

Their QC has improved to where it's on par with many other larger companies.

Fit and finish on their buffer tube I got recently was perfect.

That may be true but after my past experience with them I wont risk it. I bought one of their buffer tubes a few years ago and the thing cracked after a few hundred rounds.

Check with Essential Arms out of Louisiana.  Their website shows them, but you have to call for price.

There are several on the EE the last time I checked.  They are aluminum CAR stocks right?  Someone posted a bunch that look just like the picture but they are aluminum.

The aluminum stocks (vinyl-covered) are the original CAR-15/XM177 stocks from the 1960s & '70s. The one the OP is asking about is plastic. Those first showed up in the 1980s.

x2. I used one for my 653 clone. (Didn't feel like shelling out $300+ for an original aluminum stock.)
